To give myself a running start on art supplies, my husband opened up an e-bay store so the proceeds would go to art supplies. The ebay store is still open even though my art has taken off much further and faster than I thought possible! The ebay store focuses on costume jewelry.

Some artists look at photography as art, and others do not. I personally think it is art. You have to be in the right place, at the right time, capturing a moment from a special perspective. Ideas pop into my head, and for better or worse I don't use photos when I create art. I do not have a still life in front of me. I may sketch out a concept and erase and redraw and then put it to paint and frame it. Here are some of my recent sketches. Some will make the cut and others will not.
