I wanted a way to honor her memory and keep those sparkling treasures visible. So, I took a shadowbox and, with a little creativity, transformed her pieces into a stunning, one-of-a-kind art display. It now hangs proudly in my husband's office, bringing a smile to his face every day, especially with a few treasured photos nestled alongside.

**"Sparkle & Sentiment" Beginner Workshop**

In this fun, hands-on session, we'll dive into the delightful world of jewelry art. For just **$75**, you'll learn to craft a gorgeous shadowbox piece from your own costume jewelry. Here's what's included and what we'll cover:

* **Your Creative Canvas:** We'll provide a small shadowbox to get you started.
* **Tool Time:** You'll have access to hot glue guns (and learn how to use them safely!), along with other small tools like pliers for careful disassembly.
* **Jewelry Detective:** Ever wondered if that "sparkler" is a real diamond? We'll have a blast using magnification loops and even learn how to do basic diamond, gold, and silver testing – it's surprising what you might discover!
* **Safety First:** I'll have safety glasses on hand for everyone (no worries if you wear eyeglasses, we'll make sure you're comfortable).
* **Your Treasures:** Please bring your favorite costume jewelry pieces, ready to be transformed! We'll teach you the safest and easiest ways to take them apart, especially those trickier brooches with stick pins.
* **Extra Sparkle:** If you'd like more options, I'll have additional jewelry available for purchase. You can use an unlimited amount of fantastic pieces for just $10, or explore a collection of more elaborate items for $5 each (or grab seven pieces for $25!).

This BEGINNER workshop is designed for everyone, regardless of your artistic experience! I keep the class cozy, usually around **5 individuals**, so I can give personalized attention and help everyone bring their vision to life. The creative journey typically lasts about **four hours**.

**"Creative Canvas" Intermediate Workshop**

If you've got a specific vision in mind or want to take your jewelry art to the next level, this class is for you! Bring your treasured costume jewelry and your chosen surface – perhaps a decorative box, a beautiful picture frame, a fabric pillow, or any other fun item you dream of adorning. We’ll explore advanced design concepts and techniques to bring your unique masterpiece to fruition. I’ll also have some reasonably priced jewelry available, just in case you need a little something extra to complete your design. These pieces will be available at the same price as class number one.

**Before We Meet:**

To help you get the most out of our time together, I encourage a little "homework": start dreaming! Think about the kind of art piece you'd love to create and whether you want to work on a shadowbox (provided in the beginner class) or another item you bring yourself. 2. **Hands-On Creation:** I'll guide you through safely disassembling your jewelry with the right tools, then we'll arrange your pieces just how you like them. Finally, I'll show you how to securely attach everything using hot glue guns, step-by-step.
